I was playing a sat earlier to win entry into the 8K BH sat final at 6pm. Top 4 get entry to the sat and 5th got £5.76. The Direct sat is only £3.60. As it is more "profitable" finishing 5th should I be trying to bust 5th? 

EDIT - Forgot to mention that the sat I played was £1.60

yes then you can buyin to the sat AND have some profit left over for some pennie sweets or something. unfortunately nowadays penny sweets are many pennies but you get the idea.

Lol, I know it is only 56p but if you played a lot of sats it could potentially add up

no, it shows that you're thinking about it all correctly.

if you're trying to make decisions that make you the most money in the long run then yes you should always be looking to finish 5th here lol.

I expect the sat was for entry into the 8k BH semi at 6pm which is £7.20 to enter.
If 5th place was more than the seat then there was a mistake (not uncommon).

I see what your saying Jonjo, when I look in the lobby there isnt even a sat at 6pm. The closest 1 to 6 is at 6.05 which is £3.60 and I quote " Top 2 will win a seat into tonight's huge £8,000 Bounty Hunter at 8pm. Players may be entered into the Main Event during late registration. Late reg open until the end of level 3."

When you look either side of it the buy ins change to £7.20 for "1 in 5 win a seat into the £8,000 Guaranteed Bounty Hunter tournament at 8pm tonight. At least one seat is GUARANTEED. Min 3 runners. Late Reg will be open until the end of level"

Now beginning to doubt if busting 5th was right

From what I can see all the £1.60 sats are to get a seat in to the £7.20 semi at 6pm.
There are no sats that you will pay £1.60 to enter and win a £3.60 seat on here.

I honestly cant see a 6pm semi in the lobby, am I being dim?

But either way if there are £3.60 direct entrance sats I could chance on one of them and still make the same monies? Can I not. I dunno, my one brain cell is beginning to hurt...............

Its at the very top in the yellow.

Of course you can enter the £3.60 sats. The only difference is they are 1 in 10 go through, the £7.20 are 1 in 5 go through.
