I consider myself a good player and generally have a very good understanding of poker. I have now decided to give up playing micro stakes cash poker, after months of playing low stakes and having one winning sessions will be followed by months of losing, I give up. Before people start saying its just variance, I do understand, but spending nights playing some very long sessions multi tabling and not making a hand has finally driven me MAD. you can not win playing at the micro stakes too many "any 2" or "its only a bit of fun" or "this sites corrupt and I knew I would hit" or "playing because im bored" or "its my money, I can do what I like with it" NEVER AGAIN.

if you are not able to win the micro stakes table then it is quite obvious where the problem lies.
you are playing far too nitty.
these micro stakes now are tables where the best way to get money is by doing a 20p raise preflop followed by a cbet on flop because 9/10 villain will fold and even if you get a call then a double barrel will quite often be one too many calls for them.
the main varience of micros is hand selection and that is down to where you are.
Missing the point of the post im just saying "never again" don't need all the same old bs as above, thank you.
The deck just beat you
ul. easy game though.
And to quote your first post, has your "good understanding of poker" lead you to believe that the correct way to play QQ is to call a min bet pre. AND check call a T7J flop?
That example has just gone to highlight the validity of the first post I made on this thread, I dont think you could play QQ any worse if you had tried!
- Claims to have a "very good understanding of poker"
- Admits to "months of losing"
- Posts a totally butchered QQ hand just because it involves a player daring to comment on his thread
- States that he "don`t need advice from another microstakes player", in reply to posts from a winning microstakes player
2. I don't stack off with one pair
3. love micro stakes players who think they are pros
ego >>>>>>ability
