I've got no notes on the player and he hasnt really stepped out of line since ive been on the table.

I was going to let him bluff off worse hands and call him... then this happens.

Stupid fold or just not worth it as ive only invested 4 quid?

Don't worry about the fact you have only £4 invested. Just think about whether it's a +EV call or not.

I'm saying the fold on the river is fine. However, I'd have to question why we don't barrel the turn. We're up-and-down with a flush draw and we're heads up against someone who's range isn't particularly strong...

Admittedly the board pairing a 2 isn't a great bluffing card but we can't realistically bluff the river if we don't bet the turn. We can make it really tough for him to call us down with his top or second pairs and we still have good equity against everything but a house or quads.

Anyway, on the river we're only beating a bluff really. None of his value range for shoving are hands we beat and we need to beat 47% of his range to break even. Is he shoving 10x pot with bluffs nearly half the time? Not a chance, I'd say... in a vacuum of course.

.... nope. Be more interesting if we had the nut flush or the river was a 5 and we had the straight. Even then I think it's still a fold though.

Yeah just fold, weak flush on a paired board facing an enormous overshove.
