Hello you!

It occurred to me after Thursday's fun show with Stuart 'trust the variance' Rutter and Tatjana 'tattytats' Pasalic that we all ought to have poker nicknames, so in a Phil 'The Power' Taylor style what might your poker nickname be?  Better still what might others be...

How about Ryan 'pearly king of the multitable' Spittles or Richard 'Donk where's my car' Orford for starters?

I KNOW you can do better than that! ;-)

We'll be covering the final table of Sunday Night's Primo from 7, we'll have live coverage of the Turbo Open from 8 and in analyse my play we'll follow a couple of players in our main event so email skyopen@bskyb.com if you'd like one of those players to be you!  It's Master Cash from 10 before returning hopefully to the Turbo Open final table at 11.

GL on the tables, run well and we'll see you from 7pm

Sarah 'still believe The Blues could be...' Champion(s) xx

Surely that should be "variance" not "variants"?

(and there's no truth that my nickname would be "The Pedant"!)

Around here and on Facebook I tend to be called chav, beardy weirdy, Sir and that effin fish who always gets there!

I always assumed it was a nickname you picked up as a teenager... Probably wouldn't want to share it if that was the reason.

    Good evening Sarah and Ross.

My nickname is probably quite obvious. I wasn't popular in my youth.

Although, if your nickname is the name that you're known by to only your friends and family, then "John" would be it. More people call me Borin than know my real name.

Misread the hand horrendously. Can you give me some advice on this hand please in the Main?

I have had lots of great hands going to losses and just prior to this I went out the mini when I went in on the turn which then give the villain the flush on the river
should I have just check called the turn
this one is from the main

are villians expecting me to only have something good when I bet?

these hands I just can't seem to get callers any longer that I am beating.

Regarding my shove on the turn against the flush I believed he was chasing the flush and tried to get him off the pot. I didn't believe I was behind in the hand. I do tend to go a bit too aggressive at times though, I'll hopefully listen to Ross' advice and not take a "hyper-aggressive" play all the time.

the puzzling thing is I seem to be getting so many folds when I do bets by weaker hands as was the case with the other hands if they get shown so when that flush came I was could not put him on anything but a flush. which is why I was thinking I should have folded the turn.
what I am starting to wonder is should I start playing loose which is the way I am starting to play in cash games as they are also getting so many folding my bets.
