We were down to 4 handed in the £50 gtd. I realise I probably should have shoved on the flop. Hindsight is 20/20. If I did go allin on the flop I think I would have been called. he has me covered with the nut straight draw and the bubble has lasted ages.Opinions?PlayerActionCardsAmountPotBalanceZOEDSmall blind 150.00150.006291.00brass777Big blind 300.00450.0020358.00 Your hole cardsA2 RevKnowledRaise 600.001050.003730.00martinst10Fold ZOEDCall 450.001500.005841.00brass777Call 300.001800.0020058.00Flop A2J ZOEDCheck brass777Check RevKnowledCheck Turn 3 ZOEDCheck brass777Bet 300.002100.0019758.00RevKnowledRaise 1200.003300.002530.00ZOEDCall 1200.004500.004641.00brass777Call 900.005400.0018858.00River Q ZOEDCheck brass777Bet 5400.0010800.0013458.00RevKnowledAll-in 2530.0013330.000.00ZOEDFold brass777Unmatched bet 2870.0010460.0016328.00brass777ShowK10 RevKnowledShowA2 brass777WinStraight to the Ace10460.00 26788.00

Then you can easily shove the turn, if he wants to call, then that's up to him and he's making a mistake.
With 14BB's there is no need to play shove or fold pre-flop in a non-ante tournament. The risk/reward is just not there. Sure, we could tighten up our shoving range but we'll often be waiting for a good while to find a spot where the risk/reward of shoving with XX is going to be worth it.
Min-r/folding is fine pre-flop because having a 12bb stack is still OK as we still have plenty of fold equity. 8bbs or less is when min-r pre-flop becomes bad because if we do decide to min-r fold then we're left with a 6bb stack or less which is not going to leave us with much fold equity.
I don't know if I'd raise this hand pre though unless the table was playing really tight because A-rag is just a horrible hand to play. We can't call a shove and when we flop an A we're not that happy to be putting in much money. As played c-betting the flop is a must. If we were really strong (eg. we flopped a set of aces) then slow playing is OK but our hand is still somewhat vulnerable - not only that but we want to be getting value from worse hands. On the turn you had the right idea in raising, but your sizing was too small. Brass only needed to have 21% equity to call your 900 raise and that was before the overcall. He only needed 16% after that which means you're pricing in hands like flush draws to call. The pot was 2100 after villain bet so if you had made it 1900 you would have been making him make a big mistake by calling.
