3 handed so things are a bit fruity to say the least! I wasnt worried about grimreaps reraise pre - think he's doing this with Ax's and low PPs pre. I was more worried about the 3 bet from RossyBee pre... I thought I'd see a flop in position. The flop is near enough perfect for me (baring a 10), but it all kicks off on the flop and I think im forced to fold.
I've checked back the turn because I don't think I'm ever getting 3 streets of value from worse in this spot. The villians range is pretty narrow imo after flatting the 4bet and the flop, so I think if I check the turn then it allows him to value bet JJ/QQ on the river... if he doesn't V-bet them himself then I've got position and I think I'm more likely to get a call from JJ/QQ after checking the turn.
But when the river comes a queen and he donks the river, I'm behind to AA as I always was but I've now gone behind to QQ.... don't think he's donking JJ so can I just fold?
trying hard to play online have my right wrist strapped up, so multitabling hard.
My proudest poker moment so far was winning a $330 tournament at ceasers palace. Just felt so good with all those poker pro pictures around me, in the home town of poker
What does Ryan think about this hand? I've checked back the turn because I don't think I'm ever getting 3 streets of value from worse in this spot. The villians range is pretty narrow imo after flatting the 4bet and the flop, so I think if I check the turn then it allows him to value bet JJ/QQ on the river... if he doesn't V-bet them himself I think I'm more likely to get a call from JJ/QQ as well when checking the turn. But when the river comes a queen and he donks the river, I'm behind to AA as I always was but I've not gone behind to QQ.... don't think he's donking JJ so can I just fold? In Response to Re: Thursday Night LIVE on Sky Poker TV (Channel 861 7pm-12am) with Rich and Ryan ***official show thread*** : Hi Lambert, thanks for the request.... where is the hand from? Posted by Sky_Louis
My proudest poker moment will be Final Tabling 1am £200 Gtd 5 times out of 7 I played. Finished 1st, 2nd, 1st, 4th and 2nd. I also made my SPT debut which was very enjoyable and had a good wkend.
One was coming 2nd in the main and 1st in the mini on the same night, just missing out on the £10k jackpot. One was winning the monday night main in January.
But my proudest?
Probably satelliting into SPT nottingham for £15, playing in my first ever live poker tournament and cashing in the top 25.
my proudest moment in poker? no contest for me,has to be sitting down at the main event wsop 2011 thanks to sky, something i had dreamed about for years, still dream about my aa getting cracked three times lol
Hi Ryan hope you feel better soon. I have a terrible cold and before I started typing this my eyes were running so much, when I looked up at the tv channel 861 Richard had turned in to anna and you had turned into james
Thanks for showing my mastercash hand. Reasons for calling the dry 4 bet pre? We are super deep and 3 handed. Things are likely to get fruity with everyone forced into action each hand. 1010 is a monster 3 handed and maybe I regret not 4 betting and isolating. The dry 4 bet is never AA-JJ so essentially I was playing RossyBees range which is quite wide 3 handed. It includes small pp's, suited connectors and premium hands, however as said he is never bluffing in this position when he shoves the flop. I had to narrow his range which included sets, overpairs and the flush draws. I decided too many hands were beating me in his range and decided to fold.
I get my money in if RossyBee folds flop as the dry 4 bet is almost never beating me here.
Alright then chaps, this hand is from Master Cash 2:

I'd been getting beaten up on this table a bit, to be honest. I'd been playing too wide a range and had been forced to fold a lot of hands post-flop as well as being caught out folding pre-flop to 3-bets. I'd been playing like a fish, basically.
As a result, when Wilhelm 3-bets my button raise, I think he can be doing it with pretty much any two cards. So I call to play the flop in position.
I get a good flop and call the c-bet. No dramas there.
The turn is less than brilliant. However, I know Wilhelm is going to want to rep this card a lot, so I can't just believe his second barrel. I also know that if I call here, I'll have to call all-in on lots of rivers.
The river brings in a lot of draws and I don't like it one bit. At the same time, I know Wilhelm will want to rep a card like this, too, because it changes the texture of the board a lot....
Does Bryan think I just stationed Wilhelm here a little... If so, at what stage should I have folded, given my reads?

No idea what was going on! Good fold?
