Well what a rollercoaster!!! Started great tonight and thought I was gonna cruise up the money ladder........
I ended up playing solidly in cash, sngs and the 3 mtts. However, in the end I played with steady yet non spectacular results.
I lost a monster cash pot for £100 with a flush vs set when money went in (set then rivered fh) and my mtt journey ended really with QQ all in vs AJ (and the A flopping)
I cant complain about my results and David has made me really analyse a couple of areas of my game which could do with 'tweaking'. Congrats to all TP'ers this week and all from the previous weeks - until u play it, u really cant appreciate just how hard it is!!!!!!!
FINAL BANKROLL - £584.69
Steady, steady everyday I think with no massive peaks, yet no major troughs either! Fingers, toes and everything else now firmly crossed for Saturday!
Final night a mixed bag really. The last 3 days have actaully been mentally exhausting to tell you the truth but when your fighting your way through 18 of the best players to win a £20k tourney package i would do it every week without fail as i love the competition.
Tonights plan was the play less games but play higher and games i expect to beat normally and focus hard. I entered to tikay sleepstack and came 4th but was disapointed to not finish higher just didn't get cards in the right spots. The only other tourney worth mentioning was another one where i came 4th but bubbled it .
Cash wise i sat down for about an hour and was determined to win ! get money in on flop with a set vs overpair for him to turn a higher set....i left after that before i tilted. DYM again a good night and slightly better than the other two nights. Hu again slightly better - So heres the figures !
DYM - 6/8 whichcomes to +128for the night Hu - 4/5 won for+ 106.75 MTT - 1/6 for - 18.70again had a rough patch in the £11 buy-ins Cash -- 30again
Total for night+ 186.05
Final Bankroll -914.44
My final thoughts are that i have loved the competition so far and hopefully look forward to a couple more weeks yet ! I'm satisfied with how it went and perhaps could have hit the £1100-1300 range had a few more things swong my way.
In Response to Re: OFFICIAL TOTAL PLAYER THREAD: [QUOTE]just checked out nutters TP stats on sharkscope!!! 37% roi and $730 profit!!! thats some impressive stats!! well done and good luck all! im very jealous of you all. Posted by donkeyplop
Please be aware that Sharkscope stats EXCLUDE Cash Game play, & ONLY reflect Tournaments & SNG's.
Nice bankrolls from a few of you (wp Doh). Dylan I've been there myself matey, it's hard when you are desperate to make a profit in these three days but like me, things obviously didn't fall your way. I am sure David will see that and you still have a great chance, so don't get your head down mate - you did great not to lose much more.

Oh yes, absolutely. I was just making the point that many people misinterpret Sharkscope Stats, & if the player plays both Cash AND Tourneys/SNG's, then Sharkscope is extremely misleading.
A cash player might have very bad Sharkscope Stats, & a Tourney/SNG player might have very good stats, but neither of them accurately determine the players ability necessarily or accurately.
Mr Nutter is a great example of this - look at his current TP-Bankroll relative to his starting Bankroll. It's not + 37%!

Cheers Pryce mate Everything seems better the next day, I am actually pleased that I had only lost that much and had I not run 10 10 into 88 (another shortstack looking for a quick double up grrrr lol) then my BR would look healthier!!
I am actualy quite proud that I didn't bust, it was just frustrating at the time when nothing went my way - but I am very happy with my play overall and therefore have no complaints and I have learned a few new tricks from Mr Tuck - so beware lol!!
Havng a break from it tonight - just feel I need a break and when I get back I am going to suck out loads on people - it's karma, so beware I have warned you all now lol!!

are you loking for a great overall player then?
as from what ive seen nutter only plays mainly sngs and mtts.
thats why his cash profit wont be as good as the rest.

Yes - that's the whole idea - the search is for a TOTAL PLAYER.
I need to choose my words carefully, because I must not favour, or be seen to favour, any player.
But Ben is a good example. He normally mainly plays SNG's - that's his main skillset. The other TP-ers ALL have their own speciality too - look at the list, it includes Cash specialists, MTT specialists, SNG specialists.
So Ben has excelled at SNG's - as expected. But if you look at his Bankroll now - you have to work this out for yourself - he appears to have demonstrated his skills at other formats too, because his overall ROI is MUCH higher than the 37% you noted.
Much the same remarks may well apply to ALL the TP-ers - that's the idea. To find the TOTAL PLAYER.
if he also did well in the cash he gets my vote for total player. saturdays show is going to be very interesting Posted by donkeyplop
Most of those who have got this far have done well "across the board". They report their results nightly, & at some stage they will all need to make the Sky Poker Community aware of what they did, & how, as part of the "beauty contest".

That's another positive, you learned some stuff along the way too. One thing that I failed to achieve from the process...
Just want to say how much i've liked this thread, reading all the TP's comments at the end of their sessions whether they had been up or down. It sounds like some of the badbeats you have all received could have tilted some players. Good luck to you all, it looks like another nail biting saturday night viewing! But as i don't like ice dancing/singing or whatever other simon cowell show, i will be watching the show again with interest. Cheers Dave.

Been some bumpy ride, too, ups & downs, lows & highs, heartache & happiness.
Bit like life, this poker lark, eh? Or at worst, a Soap Opera.
We should call it TP-Street, or TP-Enders.
