Not sure I recall playing vs pokey2011, does he play 20NL then? Be interesting to play against him based on what people have described him like since it's been a while since I've faced a good LAG.... obviously faced many a good LAG when I played higher, but mostly the winning players at the lower levels are TAGs. I tend to vary between TAG and LAG, depends on the table.
wouldnt say anyone at 20nl gives you a hard time at the tables, its pretty easy going ,players i think would win at higher levels are big hawk ,infinty ev, ivanovic and a few others
some players dont want to move up theyre just happy winning where they are??
Ivan has proven before he can win higher up, and I agree that in my brief time playing v him he stands out from the 30nl crowd.
If this was posted 2 months ago when I was still playing here I'd have said stacker & guard4ct. No surprise to see them 2 up @ 200nl now.
Im sure bighawk can and sometimes does make money @ 50nl, prob played with him least of the middle lower stakes regs as I think he was mainly 20nl. It's hard to see how he can lose money at 50 or even 100nl as he has very few leaks.
Evilpingu and AJrockets will no doubt conquer 50nl and beyond imo, although might not be ready yet.
Lambert also.
Anyone who puts as much effort in to working on their game as the above 3 do will inevitably move up sooner or later if they chose to.
Best 'reg' I played against in my time @ 30nl was a guy called supernova. Not sure if he still plays sky but he will have moved up by now for sure wherever he's playing.
KKrippler is will probably already be 1 of the best players at 50nl imo so not sure if he counts for this thread. Couldn't not mention him though as he destroys me every single hand.
Some guys you see playing day in day out now play the same way they did 3 years ago when I first started.
They've clearly got the playing/studying balance wrong and therefore will make very little progress in terms of improving current winrate and moving up, if any at all.
Don't think I've played a single cash hand with pokey! Sounds fun tho!

Pokey - and he would agree - is inebriated most of the times he sits down at a table, and it's hard to play ABC poker when you're on the margaritas. He's a good guy though. All this hatin' ain't cool. I reckon he would do fine at a higher level. Posted by Slipwater
Like him already!
Forgot Rancid in my first post! Wont be long until he's 100nl+ somewhere also.

Steve,
If you want to win a debate, or even make a convincing case, it's probably better not to be rude. People discount opinions which are not expressed in an adult manner.
In Response to Re: Lower stake cash players ie 4nl -20nl : It does not matter to me Steve, I rarely reply to ill-mannered stuff, I was just trying to give you a steer, to help you. Next case. Posted by Tikay10
well put
although to be fair to IDCU he does have to put up with a lot of baiting. peeps may disagree with his opinions but there is no reason for them to abuse him for voicing them. just do your best to grit your teetth IDCU and not rise to the bait. always good to hear contrary views.
