I believe they were chosen at random as the lobby says.....gl to them, maybe next time you will get lucky and get selected
Why do you feel you have the right to be part of these freerolls? The players involved have obviously met some sort of criteria that SKY do not want to divulge because those players have the right to have there business on SKY kept private.

this is not the 1st weekend i havnt been selected. Every week im not selected. My point is when only 300 players have entered out of a possible 1500. Why not let us that want to play these freerolls enter 1st come 1st served. Why let 1200 seats stay empty. Customers are paying to be here. Surely its fair we all get a chance to enter if we wish. Its just good buisiness sense really. Instead of alienating the rest of us.

On Sky's twitter account it's for the players that completed the survey, Sky said on another thread that they would chose 25 people at random for a £10 prize for completing the survey, a lot are complaining they completed the survey but cant get in, in the lobby it says chosen at random! Bit of a mess really.
you can't have milk vouchers if you don't have a schoolkid you can't have an OAP bus pass if you are not old enough you can't enter a private freeroll if you are not invited
and like the first two, if you don't meet the criteria you will never be invited.
is that wrong? No should you be upset? No do you have a leg to stand on? I'm guessing not

Sky will just put a big number able to enter because they dont know how many will be eligable. That does not mean the tourney should have that number of entrants. Tonights main event has up to 1000 but will get around 250 does that mean SKY should let 750 in free?
Lol it's quite simple. These players have done something you haven't.
It might be they spent £50 last month sports betting with Sky or £100 on Sky Vegas or one of a thousand other things, but these people are being rewarded for whatever it is they've done (that you obv haven't or you'd be invited).
They're not gonna just free up the seats to anyone cos it's specifically to reward the people who have done X, Y and Z.
Sky aren't gonna announce what the critera is because maybe the 200 people (or whatever) who are playing the tournament don't want the whole site knowing that they deposited 10 times last month/deposited £500/spent £100 on Vegas or whatever... cos it's their business.

Just to be clear, there were two seperate surveys (admittedly both product surveys) with these two seperate offers associated with them.

people spend there cash willingly on sky hoping for a win. Not all of us are lucky enough to win. So when we see freerolls with 1200 empty seats that we are not elligible for, we feel hard done by and let down! We pay for others to get seat into these freerolls. Are you happy you cant enter???

True, these kind of freerolls run for a variety of reasons (too many to list) but they all either reward / thank people for something or encourage more to play on Sky Poker.
It's similar to having the welcome offer of £10 free as an incentive to join Sky Poker (sure many of you had this too) - it would be impractical or impossible to give everyone that.
We do offer other promotions and events that are available to all.

People on here have given their honest opinion (for and against) which is fine. However, calling loyal and respected community members 'Jokers' isnt likely to get you support to be honest.
hi sky poker while you are there not wanting to derail the thread and all that but could someone put this week's tv schedule up on the sky tv thread seems to have been forgotten this week
(no doubt you were distracted answering forum posts)
