***New Software Freerolls on Tuesday 8th October**

Hi Everyone,

Cash games have been available on the new software for a few months and today we are running some freerolls which will be the first tournaments to run using the new software as a trial.

The first tournament is in the lobby called '£50 New Freeroll' and capped at 50 players.

We'll post up the rest of the schedule on here a little later.

There are fairly small player caps today, this will increase over the coming days and weeks.

We do not currently support Internet Explorer 8 in the new software, IE8 users who register for this tournament will still be able to launch these tournaments in the old software if they wish.

Just an addition to Adam's post - those of you who can't get into the game with IE8 should close the window and reopen the table by clicking Launch in the tournament lobby. That should get you in through the older software.

Similar to Shuv.... was gonna give feedback but the game didn't last very long for me lol. Things seemed to work as fine as they do on cash.

The next tournament is now in the lobby which starts at 1pm also called £50 New Freeroll

A Max of 50 players can register before the start time, then we will also allow up to 50 players to late reg.

Reg Opens at 12:40pm for the 1st 50 seats

I played the 1st one at 12p.m, and here are some suggestions for you on this new software:

Firstly i didn't cash  9/50 so that can be looked at lol.

On a serious note, there are issues, old lobby still in use, when viewing another table from same mtt (old table graphics show up, not new graphics).

You capped the 2nd freeroll to 50, then changed to 100 at last minute.

Hand history should have it's own tab elsewhere instead of under the game info tab (this would be very useful, esp if having chat left up, instead of having to keep pressing different tabs to see this info).

No timebank still in use on sky poker.

And lastly  still no speech bubbles, or an option to ignore another players chat.

Other then these little problems, new graphics work great and gl all at the tables too.

Well I'm beaten my record of how long I lasted in the first one and still going 14 mins in!

Only thing I've noticed so far is that the preflop pre-set betting buttons dont work 2BB and 3BB were greyed out, 4BB was lit up but clicking it did nothing. The All-in button seems to be the only one that works.

I'm sure it does this on the current software but doesn't seem to on this one... it would be nice if when you click in the bet amount box to type in your own bet, the current amount should automatically be highlighted so that you can just overtype your bet, and not have to highlight it yourself

On the old software, when you went to mini view, it had basically everything you needed all on that one screen, the new software doesn't seem to do it.

I.E. the old software would say, how many runners are left, where you are currently placed out of the remaining players. Personally I think this info should be there no matter what size videw you're in.

The only notification of blind increases seems to be a little box that appears inside the chat box. It's probably not even vital to be notified but if you are gonna do it, then I think a similar box flashing up in the centre of the table would be clearer/less likely to be missed.

Here's the details

£50 new Freeroll at 2pm, registration opens at 1.30pm (100 players max)

Unlimited rebuys are available for the 1st 30 mins at £0.25 for 2000 chips when equal to or below starting stack, then 1 add on for 3000 chips at £0.25 during a 3 minute break.

One last thing...

I lost KK v AJ aipf and then lost AQ v KT aipf, what's that all about?

Bust now, so can't give more feedback but all the above was what I spotted in 25 mins.

I still find all the shades of blue very confusing, please change one or two things on the table to other colours, even it is just blue on white.

One thing different to the cash tables is the info on the "Game Info" tab. Hand history needs to be moved onto its own tab if possible and the facts and figures being a very spindly white font on blue (again) are very difficult to read, Make them dark on white please.

When in later levels, the bet slider used to increase in multiples of the small blind I beloeve. Now it increases only in increments of 20 chips which makes it a lot slower to slide it to a reasonable raise.

After a table change I got stuck with a 'Waiting to join next hand' message on my screen. That was all I could see until I closed the table. My opponents saw this; I timed out on the first hand after I joined, hands after that I was sitting out. After about four hands I closed the table and relaunched it from the MTT lobby, then it worked.

I played in the 1PM freeroll and have a few feedback points:

- The avatars are poor quality (blurry) as are the Routlette/Blackjack/LiveDeal buttons on the right hand side of the screen.
- I could not get the tournament lobby up when clicking the lobby button in the software. Nothing would happen.

I have to say, I didn't see a significant improvement to be honest. It's different, but not nessessarily better - it does seem like change for change sake? Sure there are a few more stats, but apart from that there is little enhancement. Having said that, I do realise that Sky have their reasons - maybe they posted them elsewhere and I didn't come across them. I'm not saying the new style is bad, but I'm not sure the benefits ae worth all the work?

Also, a very minor point, but stack sizes on the table are round to the nearest whole chip, while fractions still show in the lobby.

Just tried clicking the bet slider up to 150 @ 25/50 and for some reason it seems to move up in increments of 40 so default it starts at 100 (a minraise) then with each click goes 140 >> 180 and so on.

I know you're trying to boost the number of rebuys etc but it's really annoying that after every single hand it automatically takes you back to the cashier tab for rebuys. If you were chatting to people or wanted the tab open for where you are in the MTT etc that would be annoying every hand.

There is another £50 Rebuy Freeroll, with late registration for 10 mins right now now, followed by:

3.30pm there will be a £50 timed freeroll (30 mins) - max 100 players

4pm there will be a £50 timed freeroll (30 mins) with late reg - max 150 players
