Why shouldn't I be unconventional! Is it a disadvantage. Being conventional does become boring some times, does not necessarily win you tournaments or does it? Posted by wynne1938

when a short stack has gone all in and gets called by more that 1 person why would any call risk his stack on a bluff when it will be doing nothing but help the short stack get more chance of surviving.
one thing that got me really puzzled this week when a short stack has gone all in and gets called by more that 1 person why would any call risk his stack on a bluff when it will be doing nothing but help the short stack get more chance of surviving. Posted by craigcu12
Slight needle from Hartigan there. "He's busted the main event, but is still in the mini Primo" - mini primo starts in 12 minutes... Posted by WWFCBlue
Hand related to unconventional play - facing a donk bet Hand ID #699407316 - Primo
Obviously could be behind to QJ/KJ etc on the flop, but think my raise on the turn probably folds out all hands except sets / KJ ? If I get re-raised its then easy to get away from...
Plesae could you show hand#69941898 using the card blockers. What would you do on the turn in my spot? I'd like to emphasise the speed that the bet came in on the turn though, do you think the turn bet was decided before the flop even came down?

Evening James and Ryan.
Why shouldn't I bet or raise to "find out where I am"?

Why shouldn't I min-raise post-flop with my big value hands, when I want a call, but raise bigger with my bluffs?

Primo.
Ryan...could I have gotten away from this or played it differently?
But in the Main just got a double up with AJ v AQ... Jack on the flop!!! Shame I only had 900 chips at the time!
