just got knocked out in 2 of them, same old story.. **** idiots calling with junk again and getting lucky lol. Still doing well in the $3.30 one though
Finished 59th or something in the $3.30 tourny, 48 got paid so i just missed out
Was chip leader for a while before i lost half my stack losing a flip with jacks, then the hand i got knocked out on was shocking, i've got 16bbs K10o in the big blind against 2 limpers and i raise all-in and i get snap called by 10,6 of hearts and yep you guessed it.. 10 on the turn then a 6 on the river.
Absolute disgraceful in my opinion, i mean do those people not have a brain? i know i was 70-30 favourite and i should be happy to get it in good etc etc which i am but its just beyond belief how someone can call off almost all their chips with 10,6 haha and yet again i was victim so some shocking comments in the chatbox afterwards ******* idiots honestly haha.
Jesus christ, wish i was rich so i could just play higher stakes against better players, it would be more fun for me and a better learning experience as well, rather than playing against those donks. Need to win the euromillions i think haha

you have donks at you're table, and there getting there money in bad all the time and getting lucky. something to celebrate if you ask me.
Lol The move from 10nl -500nl should be nice and easy haha Skip levels ftw Posted by macapaca
Haha, yeah thats why i said i wish i was rich and could afford to just pi** money away, i know i'd probably get crushed at those higher stakes against professionals and that but at least it would be a much better game of poker and i would learn a lot more a lot faster by playing those opponents rather than playing total idiots all the time haha.
And i'm not complaining about them getting their money in bad against me, i know its what i want and in the long run i'll make a profit etc but its just terrible poker thats all, i'm not really bothered about the money right now i just want to play proper poker against good players lol
Not out playing poker tonight so i'm going to play in a few more tournys than normal lol, first one went terrible, got it all in with KQ v K10 pre and K10 wins on the river again haha. At least it was free since i got a $3.30 tournament ticket as a bonus lol
Still doing alright in 2 other ones atm, will post results later
Played 3 MTTs tonight, went deep in 2 of them finished 159/5000+ runners and 31st/555 runners only a profit of about $10 to show for it though haha if only i had won that hand where i had A10 v Q10 might have went a lot further
Played well again tonight in the 3 MTTs i played, first one i got knocked out in the middle stages standard flip 10s v AK which i lost. In the tourny i finished 17th last night, i finished 60th tonight just 12 of the money, was pretty unlucky running AQ into aces near the bubble but oh well lol. Finally i cashed in the $2.20 tourny with over 6500+ players, finished 766th for just a min-cash, got knocked out with KK v AQ, ace on the river again its never on the flop **** **** haha.
Seems that you know what you are doing v the majority of the field - in which case it might be worth considering what you are getting it in with in early/mid stages of a tourney.
You might need to tighten up - why take a preflop flip in early/mid stages when you can get paid off when you hit flops good?
E.g. when chip lead - why get it in with JJ pre against someone who could seriously hurt your stack? You ended up flipping and could have been a huge dog? The KT at the end was just ul.
Obviously latter stages you will usually need to win some flips to reach the top spots.
I would suggest on a loose all-in happy table - only call with AA/KK - you will still get knocked out sometimes but you will obviously be going in very good most of the time.

I do play really tight at the early stages lol probably too tight to be honest, i've folded AQs and pocket 9s and 10s utg before in the early stages, and i never look to get it all in pre-flop with hands like JJ or AK, with QQ, KK and AA i will always look to get it in pre with those hands no matter what stage it is (with the exception of QQ if there has been a lot of action beforehand then i can get away from it lol)
Don't know what hand you're referring to when i got it all in pre-flop with jacks in the early stages i can't remember that ever happening lol. Maybe it was the hand i flopped a set of jacks after just calling a 3bet pre and they hit broadway with their AK to take me out?
When the blinds go up to the 75/150-100/200 level and there are antes in play (which is like the 7th level or so) i start being more aggresive especially in position to try and isolate limpers and steal blinds etc, try and build a stack but it doesn't always work out obviously haha.
Anyway i'm not playing at all tonight, fancied a day off lol

Sounds good to me. The JJ hand may have been later in tourney but even so I wouldn't be risking half my stack from chip lead with JJ pre. Obviously its a snap call/easy shove v a short-stack.

So far i've done nothing in the big one, but in the other 2 i'm in the top 20 of both after a brilliant start lol, will post results later.
