I might have top pair but again I am in what is a horrible position thanks to another villain who thinks a limp is better than a raise "what does it take to do a raise".
so now that i have top pair on a 3 spade flop i'm left struggling with knowing what is best i decide to bet for info on the flop then i go all in and in a way i think i was feeling a bit tilted because their has been so many awful hands again

also with this hand. the fact that the villain was a common limper normally, was i correct to fold this pair given that he decided to raise this hand

Cant see how deep you are in the second hand but the table dont look incredibly deep.  I don't mind the fold as you might not be getting the odds to set mine, although you do have position so id be more inclined to play the hand, see a flop and work out whether we can take the pot away from villain in position regardless of whether or not we hit our set.

Hand 1... hate hate hate that all in on the turn.  You've turned a hand with decent showdown value into a complete bluff.  You are only ever getting called by better hands orrrr maybe something with incredible equity - but i dont see it. Fine to 1/2 pot flop and turn as far as i see it and reassess river/villains actions.  Shoving turn just folds out all the hands we beat and we get calls from every hand that crush us.

Alternatively we can play the check/call game instead.  No need to lead and commit yourself to the hand in such a small pot if you arent convinced where you are in the hand.

In the first hand, we have just 10BB. What do we make of the limper's range? Unless we think this limp is unusual and may therefore indicate a strong hand, hoping to induce a shove, I think we should assume he's weak. If he's weak we definitely should be shoving, I think.

I like betting the flop but think we need to make it a bit bigger. He'll call us here with any big spade, though he might also shove and, given our stack, we must call against his range. I'd probably bet 1k or so here.

I agree with gazza about not liking the turn shove. It's really tough for him to call this bet with anything we beat and really hard for him to fold anything that beats us.

On the second hand: If you think the raise must be a decent hand then the fold is fine. When we're shoving with our 44, we need to have some fold equity. If the villain is never folding, we're hoping to get it in as a slight favourite but may be a big dog. In those circumstances, shoving is definitely -EV.

If we were going to play the hand, I don't think we can call. We definitely don't have the implied odds to set-mine. That makes it a shove or fold situation. In a vacuum it's probably best to shove, though that depends on our stack size. If we're much deeper than 15BB, we're too deep to shove.

If we call it can't be with the intention of flopping a set. We have to think we have a big post-flop edge over the villain, in position, but there's still a good chance that it will go multi-way. It looks like a shove or fold spot to me.

with the 109 i din't know much about the villain but i did see him make a big raise once limp once prior to this hand and make 4 folds so i think he was going to hold an A K or Q for sure leaving me chasing 10 or 9

my stack for the 44 was 3718 so i did only want to make the jam but as he did the raise when he has did lot's of limps i thought he must be holding good.

does the approach of the bubble make villians get more tight with their range and calls when shipped preflop?

i did take a few risk which turn out well and these were from BH which get lots of calls chasing the head when the blinds are low .

all them stress i get happen through a good hand that looses or a check preflop but what i wonder is will making a jam with rubbish ie K6 J3 sometimes be just as good. also what i am thinking is with them weaker hands if i loose it will probably be less annoying because i know their is more risk so a bad caller is not as likely and a better hand will be easier to take.
