Cheers

I hope not, quite simply because most of the players on here play for small money and probably won't be able to afford to buy HEM or PT3 and as such, will be at a disadvantage. Not only that, but being known as a site that doesn't allow the use of said programs can be a draw to fishy players in a way and a turnoff to professional grinders.

I'm a bit worried that with the new downloadable client, the atmosphere at the tables will become a lot more serious as mass multi tablers hit the site.

I think Sky would be mad to enable PT3 or HEM as I know lots of casual losing players who wont play online poker because of tracking software. Sky should advertise the fact they dont allow tracking software and that pretty much every other site does. This would attract so many more players to the site. This along with the TV channel and no download gives Sky a great competitive advantage over other sites.

By the way I do use tracking software when I play other sites so I do know what its all about. I have used PT, PO and HEM. My preference is HEM.

well your each entitled to your opinion on it but i would welcome the site accepting HEM. I don't play as much on here but will roll up if the client can take the tracking software. as for not being able to afford them, that might be true for some but it's not expensive really and you can get a free license if you sign up to some sites and deposit so there are always options.

i had a quick chat with them. and i'm afraid their response was pretty inconclusive. they said it was slightly too early to call at this stage and that it may or may not be compatible with some forms of analysis and tracking tools.

i'm sorry if this isn't the clearest answer you've ever had.

hopefully we will have it ready by February/ March so that isn't too long to wait.

You can buy a small stakes version of HEM for $55 (£30) so it is not that pricey in the grand scheme of things. To be honest i could make do without the tracking software on this site, as long as it is a level playing field for all. The thing that I don't like is the lack of a hand replayer, you can't tell what hand a player was playing in what position or what bets they made on each street. So even if they stuck with the current software I think the introduction of something like a hand replayer that shows these types of things is a must in my opinion.

The current Hand History gives you all that information.

I take it you mean Options - Save my settings - Poker hand history? Because when i click on it, it's blank, although I am just observing a table at the moment so that might be the problem.
If this is correct and it gives me the info i mentioned, then I will look into transferring some of my roll from current poker room to this one.

I was actually thinking of the Hand History from the site home page - where you just need the hand id (available at the top of the table window). I suspect that the option that you refer to gives you the same result though.
You are correct about not having access when observing - you can only view the Hand History for any hands for which you were actively sitting at the table. Also, as you would expect, it only shows the hands that were shown at the table at the time of the hand.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Hope you can get this from options - hand history - at the table. Having to put the hand id in at the home page sounds like a bit of a hassle to me. Maybe someone could confirm this for me please?
