    Thanks everyone

    I've had a look about, going to get a sony vaio laptop

    They look pretty minted.

    Just need to decide the specs i'm looking for, whether to get 1 off the shelf or custom made one.

    Not sure what screen size 14 inch or 15.5 inch. Any thoughts?

    Not sure how many tables you play but screen resolution plays a major part.
    Possibly FULL HD if you can afford it would be good and maybe a dedicated graphics card.

    The higher res the better especially if you aren't keen on Miniview. Set your res to the highest available to shrink full tables, although with the resizable tables coming this doesn't matter as much. 1 1/2 inches doesn't sound a lot  (oooer missus) but I would go for the larger screen.
