When is the next SPT?

I know about the Feb 2014 DTD festival thing, but

1. Will there be an SPT event before then?
2. Will there be an SPT after that?

    according to tv last night no, there may be one after but nothing confirmed

    There won't be one before that - there will be qualifiying for the Sky Poker UKPC in February starting in November so a SPT would divert attention from what is a very big festival undertaking.

    There will be a Sky Poker Tour in 2014. Planning underway, with a view to the first event being end March and then every six-eight weeks after that

    Can you try to include Cardiff please?  I think a lot of players were disappointed it didnt return following such a successful weekend at Les Croupiers

    Would love to, have run 4 or 5 successful events there. Last I heard though the venue wasn't keen on running external poker tournaments, which is why we didn't go last year

    Venue has to be suitable, and the venue has to want to have us, on the right terms

    As you can see, all the focus is on the Sky Poker UK Poker Championships at DTD in February

    I understand your focus has to be on the SPUKPCaDTDiF, but it's not for everyone and it would be nice to have something to look forward to. And as a German I like to start planning early :)

    I've been a part of this community for a good few months now, but I have never actually played live poker!

    I will be trying to qualify for the UKPC - but even if I don't, expect me to be at one or more SPT events next year! Looking forward to it!! :D

    Have spoken to the poker room manager at Les Croupier and he has said that they are more than willing to hold an event at the venue. He is also unaware that the venue wasn't keen on running such an event. A 2 day event would be more suitable, he said, with a buy in of 150-200 pounds with about 150 runners. I have set the ball rolling for you Sky and as their is great interest in this venue, I will leave it in your capable hands.
