So....
I would say fresh from my min cash in UKOPS 4, but staying up until 2am playing cash (and spinning £20 into over £100) I am less than fresh this morning! However, I had such a great night on the tables, and less because of my actual poker play and more because of the rail I had!  So thank you for making my night so fun and getting me to my first cash. It was a pleasure playing with you all.  I look forward to watching FT action tonight on the show.  As will Orford, although maybe not so much ;)


So tonight is UKOPS 5, what an amazing week so far, let's hope it continues tonight. Don't forget to try those satellites as soon as you can.


7pm – 8pm – Coverage from UKOPS 4 Main Event final table from last night. 


8pm – 9pm – Live UKOPS 5 Main Event coverage - 25K GTD UKOPS 5 High Roller. We Will have a call/rubdown from Orford who will be nursing his loss on the  Master Cash tables


9pm – 10pm – Live UKOPS 5 Main event coverage and Master Cash coverage. Phone call/Skype call from Orford.

 

10pm – 11pm – Live UKOPS 5 Main event coverage and Master Cash coverage. Phone call/Skype call from Orford.

 

11pm – 12pm - Live UKOPS 5 Main event coverage and Master Cash coverage. Phone call/Skype call from Orford.


As always hand IDs would be marvellous for us tonight, and I have a couple of free seats into tomorrow night's mini to give away too for best contributions whether it would be hand IDs, banter, questions.... you know!!



A quick fun one.... Have you ever heard of Chess Boxing nights. It does what it says on the tin... You sit and play a couple of hand of chess, and then you stand up and box a few rounds... The quiet intellect of chess followed but the brutal, physical sport...

What sport/hobby would you like to mix with poker like this and watch, or even do???

    Poker & Darts

    If you win a hand you get to throw 3 darts and the total you hit gets added to your chip stack.
    If you lose a hand then the 3 dart total gets taken from your stack.

      Think you would really have to combine poker with MMA. After every big pot you start fighting. Just asking for the line Come on then pal i'll show you a bad beat.

    One Rebuy + Min Cash = small profit
    No Rebuys + finishing out of the money = £110 loss.

    and do spend the money I donated to you at cash wisely as well
    no actually - just go and have a splurge with that

    ps rich thks for the last longer mini entry but please give it to someone else as i am now done with ukops - a shout out is all i need for my win

    pps rich - not taking the rebuy is something you should be embarrassed about - you don't enter poker tourneys to save money - you enter them to win, and in rebuys it tends to help to take an immediate rebuy - if you listen to the sky analysts' advice. so all you are saying is that you ignored the analysts, followed your own flawed strategy and lost. anna copied the pros and won.

    ppps rich - 38 still a pretty good result (but just think where you could have come with a rebuy!)

    and to your question - let's mix poker with bingo - well that's what you get when you play some of the bounty hunters on here

    Fair points FCHD and Geldy. As I said to Diminuendo earlier- in hindsight, I probably should have rebought immediately and played with 8000 chips, but to be perfectly honest it didn't cross my mind and it was only a few minutes later when I was already up a couple of thousand chips that I thought about it and by then the option was no longer there.

    You live and learn. That all said, no-one else on my table rebought immediately, so it's not like I was in a minority.

    Saturday's Show?

    I got asked to do Saturday's Show, which I gladly accepted, though working on a Saturday night did not initially fill me with glee.

    Then I read the Rota, & it said "PRESENTER - ANNA FOWLER".

    So that cheered me up, that'll be lovely.
     
    Further down the Spreadsheet, it said....

    SPECIAL GUEST - RICHARD ORFORD

    What? They give with one hand, & take with the other. 

    Go hours with Orford. On a Saturday evening. How much worse can things get?

    CORRECTION.

    The Spreadsheet did not say "SPECIAL GUEST", it said "SPECIAL PEST"

    Now it all makes sense.

    ironic then that anna ended up on a tough table where most took the rebuy but yours was softer
    but she also owned me and was a deserved tourney leader early on
