talk of villains & fish, and being sarcastic to trolls - all fine by me
but others don´t like it and are clearly so much nicer than I am

how many of you are nicer than me, lets find out by you posting your own niceness rankings?

think i´ll post a few benchmarks
anna 10
jac    9 (would be 10 but gets troll-tilt)
tikay 9 (would be 10 but gets orford-tilt)
GELDY 6 (but willing to revise based on poll results)
ohmygod 2 (but are there any 1´s around)
robertod ? - but throwing a punch to defend a seat draw hopefully places him below me. of course if it had only been a sarnie.....

    i gave myself a 6. Im nice most of the time, but when i lose the plot im one mean S.o.b. Probably should be lower as a result.

    Way too high for me.
    I like to think that I'm always nice if others are nice, but I can definitely get ranty.

    I gave myself an 8 cos I'm ace :) Was prone to the odd rant in chatbox but not done that for months now and its's under control. And I think your higher than a 6 geldy your a gent.

    I game myself a 9 because when i'm nice I go a step too far in trying to not upset any one so by that I mean how my words are said a good example is my post saying to BL in the clinic the mistake he  did I read the reply and right away was worried I upset him/her.

    the only reason for not a 10 is that when an argument does happen I my voice gets so loud .

    Do you mean on the green baize or life in general ??

    Ive never slagged anyone off @ the poker tables, or on the forum....(just need some more polish now, for my halo, halo, halo :)

    i,ll give myself a 5 . pretty friendly too people on the tables most of the time. but have had my wee rants now and again.....so a 5 seems fair.

    hmmm 3:1 majority think they're nicer than me #sigh L

    but then you're a self-selected bunch of posters, not exactly a random sample, so i shouldn't worry too much as to it's statistical relevence - maybe i should just regard it as there are a dozen or so posters on sky poker who reckon they are nicer than me, out of the 1000s that log on every day - yes - that seems better (no, we won't reflect on there only being 6 who admit to being nastier)

    1) To make you feel better about yourself Geldy

    I am generally a nice person but my sense of humour can offend and can cut to the bone. I don't mean offence but and its meant in jest but I do tend to blurt things out without thinking.

    Don't worry about it.
    Humour is so difficult to get across when it's written.
    I try and fail many times. I often look back at a post where I've attempted to be funny and realise it just looks really rude.
