    Vinnieslittle Lamb - (Stratford, 16:30)  x

Fair maiden hurdler who hit the frame first 3 starts in that sphere last year. Not disgraced on chase debut when last seen in April, and market may guide on return now.

    Fell 1st (op 7/1 tchd 9/1)

    Highland Lodge - (Chepstow, 17:30) x

Bold-jumping front-runner who was back in good heart when twice making the frame in handicaps at around this time last year. Disappointing afterwards, but well-treated if visor has desired effect.

Foundation Man - (Wetherby, 16:00) Winner

Been running well, never catching Red Baron at Ayr last time but still shaping encouragingly enough. On a good mark.

Tracked leaders, 2nd 9th, reminders approaching 4 out, soon led, 5 lengths ahead last, driven right out (op 5/2 tchd 10/3)

    Greywell Boy - (Wincanton, 15:50) X

Patchy form last term, following good win at Sandown with a poor effort at Newbury when last seen in March. Can go well fresh but still risky.

Tracked leaders, blundered 2nd, ridden approaching 4 out, weakened before 3 out (op 11/1)

    Milord - (Wincanton, 16:50) Winner

Useful Flat performer in Germany, and several good efforts over hurdles despite remaining a maiden in this sphere. Sure to be thereabouts again.

Tracked leaders, ridden approaching 2 out, switched left before last, led run-in, held on, all out (op 9/4 tchd 15/8)

    Flaming Charmer - (Cheltenham, 17:00)

Bettered his winning hurdles form when scoring over fences at Chepstow last November. Ended season with a couple of in-frame efforts in novices and less exposed than a lot of these.

    Vinnieslittle Lamb - (Worcester, 13:45) x

Fair maiden hurdler who hit the frame first 3 starts in that sphere last year. Not disgraced on chase debut in April and didn't get chance to show what she could do on reappearance (fell first).starstarstarstar

    Closing Ceremony - (Chepstow, 16:10)14.4/1 X

Brother to yard's useful performer Highland Lodge and didn't need to improve to open account in 3m Kempton novice in January. Didn't look straightforward in doing so, and disappointing at Fontwell.

    Umberto D'olivate - (Chepstow, 16:45) 17/2 X

Better over fences than hurdles, improving again when taking a small-field Fontwell (18f) event in March. Probably needs to step up again in this more competitive event.

    Upsilon Bleu - (Chepstow, 16:45) 11/1 2nd
Very useful hurdler/chaser who has done little wrong when twice finding one too good over both sets of obstacles earlier this year. No forlorn hope on his seasonal bow here.

    Ballybogey - (Aintree, 16:50) 40/1 3rd

Won twice over hurdles last year for James Lambe. Promise completed starts over fences for current yard, though no match for Sergeant Mattie at Uttoxeter last time. Cheekpieces tried.

    Lord Wishes - (Ayr, 16:00) X

Won both bumper starts in 2012 and off mark at second attempt over hurdles at Musselburgh in December of that year. Fell when last seen in April 2013 (would have won) and well treated if all is well.
