Hi all this was from the late stages of a 2.25 DYM should I have just shoved here. I limped as I was 3rd in chips and thought, see a flop if I don't hit I can give up and still be 3rd in chips. Or should I have just folded or it that just too tight.

90% of the time I know I am ahead

I did cash but got a little lucky in the end

Definitely a shove! Most of the time both players fold and you lift blinds. If they call your likely ahead of his limping range or flipping at worst.

To be perfectly honest mate, with that chipstack and those blinds, you should've been shoving pre-flop. Once you call the blind and get to the flop with two other players, having hit nothing, facing a min-bet... you've cut off most of your options.

If you think you have no fold equity, then it's probably a fold pre-flop. If we think the villain is limp-calling very often here, we're probably better off exercising our fold equity in an unopened pot against players who we think will only call a narrow range, even if that means shoving 72 in the next unopened pot having folded AQs here.

If we think we have plenty of fold equity, then we can definitely shove pre-flop.

I don't think we should be calling to see flops at all at this stage of a DYM with 4 players left and playing such shallow stacks.
