    just seen this...was looking for a 20/30NL opponent to practice my HU on... would play you at some next month if your still looking for someone (tomorrow is next month...)

    HU isnt my main game by any stretch - I'm an MTT player - but when your HU, thats the most valuable part of the tourney, do it pays to be good at it.

    I was thinking of trying to get some proper matches going, like Sulsky and Polk had fairly recently...except less hands, less skill, less money, and less people actually interested in the result... http://www.pokernews.com/news/2013/09/ben-sauce123-sulsky-battles-doug-wcgrider-polk-in-high-stake-16310.htm

    something like 1k hands with 5-10BI cap on losses - HU is roughly 250 hands per hour, so thats 1 hour @ 4 tables, or 2 @ 2 tables.

    if anyone is interested, post on here, and we can get some matches going. 

    I'm also willing to play NL10, but the rake is higher, so NL20 is my preferred option.

    I might play you at some point. NL20 or NL30 are both good for me. Used to think I was OK at HU but got destroyed by Lambert recently and have lost the past 2 times HU in a tourney!

    I'm probably going to be pushed for time to make it for the MTT rush tomorrow, but Monday from about 5pm or next weekend are good for me, sometime before the the MTT rush from 7pm...

    ill play please - id rather NL50+ 
    but if thats too out of ur comfort zone than lower for the giggles is fine

    Hey mate,

    The rake makes it hard to make money from HU cash, especially if you  are playing a competent player!

    If you want to play HU, would it not be better playing HU sit and go's where the rake is only 5%.

    I will be coming back tonight (all things being well). I will need to get the practice hours in for taking Larson7 down in a couple of weeks.

    I had my wallet stolen recently and had to run around like a headless thing cancelling stuff etc, so it has impacted on my time on the tables. You sometimes forget (or don't realise) how much of your life exists in your wallet! Banks are also reluctant to help out with direct debits in the 'transfer period', so if you forget about one they throw a missed payment charge at you. Sucks, eh?
