Good afternoon,

I have dragged myself out of bed into the wind and rain and into the SkyStudios for tonight's show, you gotta love being self employed ;)
My co-host for tonight will be RyRy for a whole 5 hours of live poker, banter and  sniffles ....

Thursday night on 861 looks like this:

7pm-8pm – Tonight on Sky Poker – Live Master Cash action

8pm-9pm – Top of the Pots – Top 10 biggest pots of the week from the Master Cash tables

9pm-10pm – Master Cash – Live Master Cash action

10pm-11pm – Sky Poker UKPC Super sat – Live satellite coverage (one GTD seat into 500K UKPC Main Event)

11pm-12pm – Sky Poker Highlights – Highlights from the late stages of the £12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.


I hope you guys at home are lurgie free, and looking forward to playing on the site tonight, let us know what you are playing, if you have just joined, or have a hand ID for us

    top of the pots should be interesting tonight - there were some £5/£10 6max mastercash tables going last night - with all 6 seats filled and a waiting list at one point! someone had >5k in front of them when i looked, so there must have been some juicy pots!

    If I was to buy a Christmas present for any1 at sky poker it would be...... Duct tape for tikay.

    I know this isn't really on the agenda tonight, but

    can I have this hand analysed from my opponents persective (with my hole cards blocked) please! it's got to be AK or Queens right? Maybe better. Bit cheeky I know, but it was just a bit of fun!

    Mastercash 12 on the 4th December.

    I feel like im going to get a bit of stick for it.  To understand the history between me and this opponent is key.  He's seen me bluff a fair few spots so is likely to think im going light check/raising... or best im on a draw (which I am).  The reraise caught me by surprise.  This guy is passive.  He is super passive.  He doesnt 4 bet kings or aces pre.... like ever and he always seems to play his big hands slow - he has let me bluff off £120 in a previous hand.  So when he 4 bets... oddly, i think he is super light, hence the 5 bet.  And to me the 6 bet is an even bigger indicator that he's light.  If he had a draw.... surely hes shoving... if he had a big hand, he'd call and let me bluff everything into him.  This is how this guy plays.  He doesn't want to let go of this pot with a distinctly average hand/possibly nothing.... so I shove.  He folds and i pick up the pot.

    Essentially... were the quality of my notes good enough for me to 'outbluff him'  or did I get really lucky by him making a massive laydown.

    Given Tikay's fascination with bridges, and the total disinterest of everyone else, how about a dvd of A Bridge Too Far as a Christmas present. Maybe he'll take the hint.

    I wish the last two hours of the show were switched around. We could see the UKPC Sat until the end then, and because we're not goint to see the end of the Bounty Hunter, showing the coverage from an hour earlier would show hands where a) we're near the bubble so that dymanic is covered, and b) average stacks are more BB deep so we can see more interesting hands and not just shove/fold poker

    i would have too get everyone in the studio... nothing because ive lost all my money on mtt's through to bad beats.

    only kidding just this week i have started posting in the forum about my game and been very happy too see people replying and supporting and offering advice,, so a big thank you too everyone at skypoker for taking there time too read and reply too my posts.
    i will be posring much more often now and updating how i am getting one.

    My question to the studio tonight is how do you deal with tilt.

    recently i get all my chips in when im ahead and always seem to get beat, i dont mind bad beats but so many games over the last couple of weeks. and feel its starting too affect my game but not in a good way.?
