Why is old version not available for tournament play?

I sometimes have problems opening the new tables, I suspect this is due to poor broadband speed.
As a result, I can't contemplate playing in Sky tournaments at the moment.
As a suggestion, why don't we have an option to run a tournament using the old style table like we do in cash games?
It's no fun blinding away while I try and get my table to open and also a waste of money!!
