Promo pop ups on forum pages

Please reduce the amount of times the same blinking promo pops up when navigating between forum pages. No exaggeration, but I must have had the one about the main event that doesn't start for three hours 20 times already, seemingly everytime I open up a new page or go back to the forum menu.

I appreaciate you need to push certain tournaments, but this has quickly got even more repetitive than Rainman's spamming of every thread with £2.20@2:20 messages!

    Bit weird that - I'm not getting any of these.

    Hope it cures itself, or gets cured, anyway.

    Yep, it seems to have stopped now thankfully. As I said, I appreciate why they are there but it was just getting silly for half an hour or so.

    I've also had it before where a message pops up about a tournament and it won't close & the page freezes. Been in the middle of writing a forum post at the time and I've lost it because the only way to fix the problem is to refresh!
