On a Mac, running OS X 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard), both Safari and Firefox are fine - as long as you regularly empty the cache.

Firefox and Safari are reputedly quicker than IE. However I tend to use IE most of the time and have no problems even when multi-tabling and running ''other places'' with multiple tables. If you're encountering problems it's your pc or BT connection, period.

I use IE and have no problems with connection even though I have Sky's freebie, pike y, no frills, snail pace, royal mail is quicker broadband.

I have just treated myself to the £5.00 p/m 10mb as we use bbc i player via the PS3 a lot and it keeps freezing, although, after nearly a week, it has still not been upgraded.

Does Sky Rich know if there are any plans to bring Sky player to PS3? It is on Xbox360.

I do have a big issue that someone may be able to help with though. Once my laptop goes to sleep, or the lid is closed, it loses all internet wireless connection and will never find a network again. I have to restart it to connect again.

I have tried all sorts but think I have ended up making it worse.

My last resort will be running the back up I did when I got it, but I dont really want to do that.

hmm i'm not too sure about Sky Poker via games consoles. i suspect that this wont be available in the short term but as web access through games consoles becomes more prominent, it will definitely be considered.

    i'll go check though.

i'm not sure about that one either. i suspect deals have been signed to keep each solely with their prospective partner
