late stage limpers who just want to complete blinds check or jam

the villain himself was still limping this late in the MTT I did do a jam with KJo and having limped in he decided the shove was too much to call so folded.

their was also a hand prior to this one when he limped with 64o to complete the SB then checked his pair on the flop and check called when I attempted to steal on the turn and on the river he actually hit trips and still checked I myself decided to follow with a check on that.

basically he seemed more worried about losing chips than stealing and obtaining chips
on the flop I decided to just min bet incase he did have that 3rd 8, when the 3rd 8 comes I decide to jam as now I wanted to defend my hand from all the possible overcards he might have and quads were just not what I expected but it just so happened that he did so I went out.

if a player is going to limp in even at the late stage should I just put the pressure on them preflop knowing tht they have already limp folded jams

Not loving a shove pre but it could be ok. Certainly not terrible.....

Why do you overbet shove the turn?
