Think Ive been in a quicker one but cannot say for certain.

    DYM question for anyone.

If 5 or 6 people go all in in the first hand of a dym and one person wins the hand ....who cashes?

I won a tournament by folding a while back! Four players all-in on the opening hand meant it ended straight away - was at the 30p level though.

I honestly don't know if that is the correct answer, but it may well be.

    Thinking out loud, though......

In NLH, it is comparitively easy to know what the best hand is, because it is fairly one-dimensional, but how do you decide what the best pre-flop hand is in Omaha? Would (say) 2-2-4-5 beat A-K-Q-J double suited, for example? Presumably, it would? (2-2-4-5 would be a 40% "dog" pre-flop).

In fact, now try & decide the best pre-flop hand in PLO8......! A-A-K-2 v K-K-A-3 is easy to decide, but the majority of "middling" hands would be very hard to judge "best" pre flop.

Not arguing with you, & I have no idea how this theoretical situation is dealt with in the Rules.

I'd like to see how they would judge the best pre-flop hand in PLO8 though, I really would!
