Freeroll, build a bank roll!

Hey!

I'm going to start a thread for the whole of January, just looking at freeroll results.

There has been a lot of posts recently from members some who have had to withdraw their bankrolls and some who have just lost a bit of money.

Was also intrigued by GaryQQQs thread last year turning nothing but poker points into 1k.

I won't be playing much on Sky this month, when i do play will be playing my normal games, this thread only relates to results from freeroll tournies that anyone can enter.

It's specifically aimed at lower stake players/ players on a limited bankroll, if anyone has any questions feel free to fire away!

Nice1 Belsi! The more the merrier, lets see who can make the most from timed freerolls in January, I reckon £60 is easily doable
ps mate your c4p shouldnt be used for freerolls, these are "poker points" and are exclusivly for freeolls, they have no other value

I've done £35 in a month in the timed before but that was when it was free & 1 point to enter(don't earn enough to play both every day).
As for the points thing if you have the points in the total points at the top in account sky still take them for your c4p's reward but if you have used them all you still get the reward(only found this out recently used to keep them thinking no points no reward)

Hey Belsi, sky confirmed on the forums that your c4p (now poker points) are not used for freerolls.

The points for free rolls are also confusingly called poker points. These have 0 monetray value and can only be used for freerolls.

Belsi if you look in "my account" it appears up near the top just under "free bets"

and says Total Poker Points: 5380

    Belsi, no idea!

Main idea behind the thread is to show someoone can build a small bankroll from nothing.

Belsi - Points are not taken away. Cash 4 Points and Poker Points are different. See Poker Points in your account section of the page and C4P on the little ticker with the monetry value in them.

    Not having this argument AGAIN!

It's not an argument, it's a fact! I think you just misunderstand it as although they are allocated in the same way they are two different things. If C4P really were being deducted every time someone plays a freeroll don't you think most people would be kicking off about it? Instead you're the only one kicking off!

Whoosh.I am not talking about reward point that re-set to zero every month.I am talking 'Total Poker Points' #Rewards still deducts these when they are payed. But you still get reward payed if your 'Total Poker Points' are 'Zero'.Hence why I would rather use them before i loose them when reward is payed.

Those points are of no financial value and used to enter freerolls. They dont reset at all, I currently have about 2000 and that only goes down when you enter freerolls. I'm sure some players on Sky have well over 10/20 thousand of them. Completely different to C4P.

Did you earn enough in Dec for rewards payment?
If so get back to me when reward is payed & compare your total poker points to now.

    From reward t's & c's

    • The relevant poker points will be deducted and converted to the nearest '100' at the lower tier, for example if a player earns 1489 points, 1400 points will be removed from the player's account.
