horrendous lag

terrible lag tonight and about 50 gateway timeouts in the space of an hour, eventually closed the download cos it was decimating my stack and played it threw the web browser and not a problem, running like clockwork and as smooth as silk, why is this?

    Thank you for sharing this with us. 


    Sorry that you had some issues with the download client and I am pleased you managed to resolve it by switching to the browser.


    I would just like to ask a few questions regarding this.


    Is it common for you to get the timeout whilst playing on the download client?        What time was it when you were having the issue? If you play at similar times do you usually expereinece these timeouts? Finally does it ever happen when playing on a web browser or does it seem isolated to the download?


    Any assistance you can give will be much appreciated and aid us in looking into this.
