Thanks for the rail/support. Trudged back to the North East. Had time to reflect on my exit hand. As I mentioned on the Friends Of Sky Poker F/book page, I should have got away from the hand. I had 25 bb's on the button at 15/30k. Found AQ, 1st position min raised + a bit. I should have being more alert to that bet, as it was Tim Slater, a very good player (a sky poker analyst too). Anyways I shoved my AQ. JP Kelly short stack in SB called, Slater called too. I knew in an instant I was in trouble, Kelly had JJ, Slater AK.

After two days of grinding, was annoying to make such a mistake. A good, solid player ala Julian, would prob have called the 1st bet, tried to see a flop, then re-consider. Kelly would have shoved, Slater would have called, and Julian an easy fold, leaving 800k still behind... Expensive mistake.

Really enjoyed the w/e though. The atmosphere on the bubble hand I was involved with Tim with was unreal. The You Tube footage shows that. Although very harsh to have to wait ten mins for the TD and Tower to ok the flop to be dealt when I knew my KK was up against his AA. Never seen a hand run out so roller coasty. Obv' live play is rigged too.
