some people I guess just will not do a raise preflop if they don't have premiums or AJ-K.
when I did the jam I just couldn't see him having any pocket pair and so I just wanted to take it down now or hope that I could double up by avoiding any flush or overcards hitting. but to my surprise he did have a pair so again I fealt as though I lost myself the chance of getting past the bubble by a person who doesn't see much risk in just limping pre flop.

part of the reason I sound upset with this one is it was about an hour earlier when I was going very well in it that I happened to fold the better hand by a villain who was aggressive

Hand in player 2 likes to bluff and show, prob 2 tilt you, so don't let it tilt you!

Hand 1 it's just under 5% of our stack to see the flop, I would just fold pre 100% of the time.

In mtts every chip is important, espec later on. If we have 8000, and call another 400, we have 7600.

If we have 2 fold, we have 7600 say we double up the next hand, we are on 15,200, had we folded this hand, the du would = 16,000. Do that 2 hands in a row, that's us up 2 32k, compared to 30,400.

So fold the 1st hand, as played we have seen a flop, it's an okish flop for us, one of the better ones we could see given our starting hand. If we jam, we can win a niceish pot, but any better hand is calling us. Quite often less experienced players will limp pocket pairs, I had some1 limp in with Jacks a 2 nights ago OTB.

    -------

Hand 2 from that position I would prob fold (given your stack)

On the flop nice bet, I like the sizing.

On the turn, weird line our opponent has taken, like the call,

On the river opponents line doesn't make 2 much sense, but i'd still fold.

Fwiw, the same opponent bluffed me too lol

Good 1 to make a note on that this is a line they have taken

Hand 1 - 100% fold pre everytime, this is just setting fire to chips when we want to conserve. Jamming flop for like 3x the pot just folds out everything worse and called by most better hands. Don't be scared of being outdrawn, it happens, you shouldn't play badly to avoid it

one of the things I didn't look at when I folded hand 2 was that I myself actually was holding the As myself, so could their really be than many flushes in his range that would have donked on the turn?
