When I win the UKPC...

Dear Sky Poker,

In the likely event that I win this flagship tournament next month I would like to request that I not be given one of those comedy cheques, as it is rather more inconvenient than you may imagine. To begin with, it will be unlikely to fit in my Hyundai i30 for the journey home, and even if it does, it will make checking my mirrors quite the road hazard.

I appreciate the over-sized cardboard cheque is a now fairly standard thing at these high profile events, but if you could see to it that I simply be given one of those old-fashioned regular-sized pieces of paper with all the relevant details upon it, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I would like a normal size cheque, it will however look like its one of the comedy oversized cheques!

    I'll be honest - never thought of that. But I'm not overly comfortable driving a larger vehicle anyway.

    When I win I don't want to become one of those people who is changed by money, so no, I will still drive myself back up to Aberdeen :)

    Surely this isn't true! I don't want to be carrying lots of fifties or hundreds with me on the journey home, and there will be more notes if it's broken down into more manageable tens and twenties. I'm pretty sure I can only get a few hundred pounds in my wallet before it begins to resemble a leather bowling ball, and I only have a few Bags For Life from Sainsbury - so I doubt I'd get the rest in there.

    Sky, can you please respond and let me know how I am going to get this money home?!
