Darts Premier League Accumulator Thread.

With the darts Premier League just around the corner I have decided to make things even more interesting for me this year by having a £5, Acca each week.

I will be trying to predict the correct result (not the score) of each match, each week and keeping a tally on this thread of any wins and losses.

Love the darts and having the bet each week will be a laugh, win or lose!

Anybody else who loves the darts and likes a bet is more than welcome to post their picks and keep a tally of any profits/losses on here too for a bit of fun to see who has bragging rights at the end!

The league kicks off in Liverpool on the 6th Feb with one of the fixtures being a rematch of last years final between MVG and Taylor (so already a tough decision there). I will post my first picks a couple of days before then.

Anybody else in??

    Ok, so I have placed my first bet. Might as well mention the fact that I am the WORST sports gambler on the planet, I have won ONE bet since I started having an acca each week on the football about a year ago!!! So these are by no means tips, just my picks!

    Chisnall v Thornton - Chisnall Win
    Wright v Newton - Wright Win
    Barney v Anderson - Barney Win
    Taylor v MVG - Draw (really couldn't decided on this one and 7/2 for the draw was a good odds booster)
    Whitlock v Lewis - Lewis

    £5 @ 75.55/1 Returns £382.73

    Best of luck to all. I see donk and dohhhh are on the fence about MVG v Taylor lol. Be quality if your bet comes in mkgunner, that's some return from a fiver!

    I don't think any of my bets will win during this. The games are such a short format with no clear favourites each week (apart from maybe MVG and Taylor).

    I went for Taylor to beat gerwen because gerwen is now the world champ, everyone will want to beat him, so the pressure is on him and not taylor, taylor throwing carefree darts cud be quite scary so i went for him to come thru that match.
    also i've had a punt of Lewis to win the whole thing, think he wants to put his 6-0 drubbing at the hands of v.gerwen to bed and this cud way to start!!

    Lewis to win the whole thing?? Not too sure about that, he was awful in last years league. If he gets off to a good start then maybe as he definitely a confidence player.

    Ah right didn't know that, cheers for the link. I guess my bet is screwed then, although Taylor could get 100 ave throwing nails haha. The short format of the premier league is certainly not ideal for getting used to new darts though!

    The only reason lewis lost to van gerwen was because he cudnt hit his doubles, his scoring was as good as gerwen's he just cudnt finish, he if can sort that out i think he's a real contender!!!

    Only the MVG match let me down!!! Give Taylor time to get used to his new darts, end of an era?? Dunno, I don't think he will ever be as good as he was again but I still think he has a couple of major titles left in him.

    Roll on next week, was a good night of darts.
