Why did you slow play the 2nd nuts OOP facing a raise and a re-raise on the flop?

If the turn checks all the way, you are just open jamming the river right?

To keep people in the hand maybe?

Whatever he does on that flop is gonna look strong, after that action.

Yeah, I'd just check/call that flop too.

Unlucky, but fairly standard. You hit your hand to take lead, he took it back. I had a hand last week where I was 99.9% favourite when the cash went in and lost. ****, check the QQ vs 1010 I had the other day on another site. All in preflop and the board was dealt twice as we both had run it twice option turned on. He hit a ten on both runs of the board. Now those are the truely painful ones. lol

    How?

If someone is drawing dead then they have 0% equity and you couldn't have lost. If they have any equity at all, even if they have just 1 out and only 1 card to come, they won't be as small as 0.01% to win. 1 out with 1 card to come gives them like 2% equity.

Guy aboe's post is correct. This was the situation. It was QQ vs JJ and I hit a set of queens on flop. He shoved all in and hit J on tturn and jack on river.

It was similar with my QQ vs 1010 hand where it was run twice and he hit 10 on both runs of the cards all in preflop. Haven't worked out the odds of it, but to win both it was quite slim doing it back to back runs.
