heads up competitions

hi all 

ive been away from sky and poker 4 a long time but we used to have heads up comp's on here, 

ive searched but cannot find any. is there 1 or if not would people be interested in having one?

im not talking about torns in the lobby btw a forum heads up comp.

Yeah I used to run them, aint done one for ages... maybe it's time for another.

Aye, would be interested.

When I done the last one, was thinking an idea might be to get people to register, once it reached 36 entrants, start a knock out, and any1 after the 36 could go on a reserve list.

Yeah definitely. I always just used to put a cap on it (32 or 64), it becomes a pain in the proverbial to organise a proper knockout if you end up with 47 people or whatever.

micro a no go but i think the last 1 i played was a free chips thing.

i'd prefer to start at £1 maybe and go up so the winner will get a nice return 4 a £1 and some rake?

The last time it ran it was £1 turbo games, with prizes for the winner.

I used to do progressive BIs so that the final/going deep is worth something (more than bragging rights) and for the shorter BR'd players, winning the previous round will give you profit towards partially paying for the next round.

So for example something like....

Round 1 - £1 best of 5 (32 players)

Round 2 - £2 best of 5 (16 players)

Round 3 - £3 best of 5 (8 players)

Round 4 - £3 best of 7 (Semi Final)

Round 5 - £5 best of 7 (Final)
