The way i always look at it is that might not have been the flop anyway if I'd called with my rubbish hand. Not sure on how sky's RNG works, but that might well be true if they have an always in motion deck, which is the safer method to run an RNG. That way it only deals the cards when called for. Meaning your choice to call or fold may change what comes out just because of a moments difference in timing for the flop to be called on.

That said, it does depend if Sky's RNG works this way or if it just shuffles for the hand and then doesn't keep shuffling. That and of course we are never results orientated anyway in poker. :)

I would've thought that that would be the flop, regardless of whatever action (or lack of it) happens pre.

    +1

I always thought the community cards were pre selected along with the hole cards by the RNG.

Yeh it is pre-selected on Sky.

On some other sites I believe it's different.

But those 3 10s are coming down on sky no matter what you do.

Unless matt bates is in the hand with AA, then just 2 10s and 1 ace.

Yeah, Dohh (no I'm not goign to count the h's), think a lot of the major ones use the always in shuffle RNG. Think this is partly due to it being more difficult to exploit in the unlikely event they are hacked orsimilar reason. If deck is in constant shuffle till card is needed it's impossible for someone to know what the board will be.

Not saying Sky's method is bad or dangerous at all, just saying.. :)

...if a dealer in a casino was constantly shuffling the cards during a hand I'd have something to say about it! :)
