thought id give this thread a bump and see if anyone has any more ideas?? my mate is wanting to stay in the uk for his stag doo as hes goes abroad twice allready this year, was looking threw the internet last night and there are companys who specialise in stag doos, you pay a lump some for ur hotel, activities when u get there then bar crawls and vip passes to clubs etc, anybody any experience with these companies, bound to be a catch somewhere surely.

    Yes u have to watch package deals been on a few it's for lazy sods everything involves basic eg hotel/hostel  activities eg paintball minimum ammo pay for extra usually ends up costing double the advertised price hope this is some help

    Yes I know it's a ball ache to organize but do it yourself I recommend Cardiff been 3 times great place

    ive been cardiff b4 mate, good night agreed but im looking to go somewhere that me and that lads havent been too so that crosses blackpool, mancester, wigan, london, preston, newcastle all of the list but any other ideas would be welcome!!!

    Magaluf - 3days - about 8 hours sleep.... Always good for stag weekends and that is where I was for mine watching England get knocked out by Italy in 2012. 

    Amsterdam - 3 days - has it all and the Heineken brewery is sick! Haven't been for a few years but there was a few good bar crawls that start near the leidsplein. I was best man for for my friend david.

    I deffo second arranging it yourself. Packages are not good value for money. 

    Example - strip club entry @€25 a person or negotiate on the door as the club would want the numbers on the night

    Transfers are easier to sort yourself if you have your head on and plan ahead. Example - 3 cabs from the airport in maga to our accommodation was cheaper than getting an arranged mini bus for 12. 

    Deffo look around and get ideas from the packages, but then tailor your own one to suit.

    Have a cracking time.

    uk only pal!!! groom is going to magaluf in may and the wedding is in september in aya napa so cant do so much in todays financial climate :-)

    Been to brighton twice on stag dos. Loads of bars/clubs. Casino is half decent. Ocenaia are what ever it is called is the main attraction for a nightclub. Usually a few page 3 girls kicking about. We met peta todd in yates.... stay classy!! The best bit of the oceania club was stubling across a hot dog stand in the club... no i wasnt drunk!! Well i was .... but it was there!! Win!! Loads to do in Brighton and the surrounding area.

    Edinburgh is a bit too classy for a stag weekend. If you had to settle for Scotland, Glasgow is your place for debauchery.

    59 lads will struggle to get in anywhere.... latch on to some girls (standard) to get in places. Break up the group. We always have this problem with our footy tour. So its head to a spoons, scrape up some slooshers and then your able to all get in the club. :P


    Never been to whitly bay.... googled it and this came up.. LOL

    whitley bay is a hole lol but go on a bank holiday if you want the best experience. for a stag do... yeah if your just interested in getting leathered but if you want an actual good time... maybe think about it lol
