Classic View Feedback Thread 18-02-14

Hi All,

Following the rollout of the new software a lot of you asked for the ability to be able to play in the old classic view 3x3 layout.

From today you are able to do that. The new classic view skin can be played in both mini and normal views. It does not replace the standard view and mini view but is an addition to these.

To navigate to this classic view you need to go to the table options at the top left corner of the table. Click on display and change table theme. You can then choose between the default, mini and classic skins. After choosing the view you want you can "Save as default" to apply that view to all future tables. Closing and reopening any tables that you have open will apply the new view.

This new classic view has all the new features of the new software. You will notice that there is no chat box. To chat you will need to revert to one of the other views. This has been launched as a Beta phase and we are keen to get as much feedback on this as possible. Please leave feedback within this thread which we will be regularly monitoring.

Hope you enjoy the new layout.

Thanks

Sam

    I have a problem....

I go to the cash lobby and click on launch table. The old table pops up, theres not even an option to load the new software, let alone this new classic view.

    Hi Splashies,

If you log out of the download client and back in does this work for you?

    Hi Splashies,

Have you ever clicked the "Problems playing with new tables" option on the Download client previously?

This is the one that allows you to play the old style tables for 7 days. This will prevent you from launching the new tables in the download client.

If this is the case we can give the steps to remove this cookie that is installed in your machine as a result of pressing this.

I've just railed a DYM with the "classic" tables, and it does look like it will be a lot easier to use than the "new" layout, however I cannot see a chatbox, nor the current blind level/time to next blind level information.

    Using Browser version, Firefox 27.0.1

Edit: Now noticed you mentioned about there being no chat box in the top post. Apologies for not reading it properly!

I'm all sorted Sam, I deleted cookies so all good now.

I agree with FCHD, you need to show the blind level and clock.

All in all, i find it great to use. It really is amazing how much difference the 3x3 makes (well for me anyway)

In the stats page, it would be handy to show how many places are paid in mtt's.

Haven't tried a cash session yet, so will post feedback on that in the next few days.

The Auto top up button is in the bottom left corner of the table.

Had a few cash session on the new classic view.

It's very good and I find the action easy to follow, but i do sometimes have to click an action button twice. Any chance you can make them more responsive?

Also can u add in the hand number somewhere please?

It makes the current 800 millionth hand promo pretty useless if we cant see the hand number.

Is this going to get up dated?
Pretty much useless for stt's & mtt's as is with no clock for levels & not permanently on display. Also player notes do not stand out enough & the stats seem to obsure to much of the table where ever they are placed.

    Hi Guys,

Sorry that I have not responded on here for a while. It is something that we have been aware of for a while but development resource has had more urgent matters to deal with. I will speak with the appropriate guys and try to get this moving as soon as possible.
