Yes.  I'm Cbetting about 275 there with 2 behind depending on my table image.  Depending on my oppo I'm also coming over the top of them when they reraise us.  Only time I wouldn't is if I know they are an aggro nutter and would do the same to us when we lead out on the turn.  I would also lead the turn as there are loads of draws out there now that can pay us off

    Definitely.

You should read that post I wrote about bet sizing :)

This flop contains quite a few of the factors mentioned in there which are reasons to go bigger.

    1) we're multi way
    2) it's very wet
    3) We can assume this flop absolutely smashes the ranges of the preflop peelers.
    4) One of them has limped so we can assume they are
          a) bad
          b) passive
          c) probably loose

All good reasons to just go really big for value. I agree with Cenachav that I'm going around 275 ish and I'm 3betting the flop once we get raised.

You missed out on a full double here. If somehow he has a hand that would have busted you, so be it.

im c betting bigger, im also never checking the turn either, i know hes showed aggression by raising the flop and ur thinking he'll probably continue betting but a decent player will do this with draws and then at times take a free one so im bashing the turn and bombing the river all day long.

could it be that i'm not thinking in the right manner.

when i do the cbets now i normally think of keeping my betting blanced with various hand strengths.

when the board is wet does the size of a cbet vary depending on my hand strength and the amount of danger cards.

you have made top set here, on a wet board, i bet around 2/3 - 3/4 of the pot here not only to build a pot but to charge my opponent more is if hes drawing, now if it came k82 rainbow i would be more inclined to bet around half the pot becuase i want to keep his 99, 1010 type hands still in, this dosent mean my range is unbalanced by doing this. its only unbalanced if ur betting different amounts with made hands to ur bluff hands etc.

craig dont worry too much about balance, just try to make money.

you only turn your hand face-up if you vary your bet sizes based only on your actual hand strength. if you vary it on things like board texture. number of players left in the hand, position etc then no-one can glean any info as this information is available to everyone.

he there are mulitlple player involved on a wet board. bets will be bigger here anyway. no-ones bluffing half pot / third pot here, so you'd be going bigger with: monsters, draws, bluffs, made but vulnerable hands.

bet big, you're not giving much info away by doing so.

also you want value before the turn. if a scare card does come then it beats our hand or just as damagingly, kills our action. try to get it in sooner rather than later whilsts people's equities are juicey enough and the board safe enough for them to do so.

after the thoughts you had about my play with that set i've tried to put more thought into it and it seems to have worked

with this hand i decided to do make my bet over 1/2 pot then went much harder on the turn and didn't hand about with this set, he did say he was expecting me to have QQ or 1010, what i will start to remember is expecting hands like this to fold is like expecting KK to fold preflop.

the thinking now is that with wet boards the hands i would use to make a more balanced range is the semi bluffs.
