Got beat by this hand last night - did I play it wrong? or was the person wrong calling pre flop?

    Couldn't do anything different.

You got it all in pre while your a mile ahead. Just unlucky, these things happen in poker.

Same thing happened to me tonight, I got Queens in Versus AJ and AK

Flop jjx, turn a jack lol

All we can do in poker is get our money in good, sometimes people will suck out on us, just part of the game.

For me the worst thing about the villians play is the raise when his stack is 8bb. So when you3bet his 6bb stack is going to call super light. Like the previous poster said, just one of them things.

I assume this question is ironic? Nothing changes this result. You were always going all in with KK and he was always going ot have to call. Both of you have less than 10bb and so the money is going in, and the only thing that should have been different is how it hapened. He should have shoved it all in preflop if he was willing to raise with it at all.

Likewise, your raise, utterly pointless. You are not folding that remaining 500 chips EVER and had less than 10bb at the start of hand. Just shove all in over his raise as played. Rest is history.
