Player limp's their entire range pre flop. They have previously limped Aces prior to this hand here.
It is the first time they have re-raised. I'm really worried on the flop they have a set.
On the turn, i still think they have a set a lot here. They are not raising Ace J. I didn't have a good enough knowledge of the player at this time to know that, but playing with them for the next couple of hours i would say that is the case.
That's why i check the turn, on the river i'm quite confident now i have the best hand.
In all my time playing with the opponent i seen them limp Aces, Kings, Jacks, Queens, there was never a raise pre flop once. I'm not happy how i played this hand, but it's difficult against this opponent, cause they could literally have anything.
Over the space of the tournie, i seen him limp Aces x 2, Kings x 2 and Queens x 1 lol
In the early stages of a tourni I think I'd always just call the river bet here. Looks weak but could just as easy be a blocker-type bet with a set, fearing that they may face a raise with any ten or flush you've hit on the river.
But if they are a limper, they probably call a raise anyway with two pair/set...
This is the sort of hand that loses me loads at the cash tables, throwing too much aggression at an ATC player rather than patiently waiting to flop a far bigger hand!
