I dont see why not. Sometimes in these tournaments there are thousands of pounds between 1st and 2nd which usually ultimately comes down to a flip.
It wouldnt hurt to add this function and give people the option.
Yes. I think if all players are in agreement. a system though where when being asked a box could appear too select yes or no. if anyone says no then no one will know who disagrees. we uave a system like this in a live casino I go too. I think it would be good and prizes given out on stack sizes. And up too the player too agree or not. Posted by Chris_Mc
yeah well of course not everyone will want to deal if they feel they have an edge, you would just do what they do on stars and other sites where u tick the deal box if u want and when the remaining players all click it and then a sky adminstator comes into the chatbox and gives his numbers and the players then decide if its acceptable to them. i did it on stars at the start of the year and was pretty much conned but we live and learn.
I'd like it as an option. With Skypoker having a fairly small player base in comparison to other sites, when/if you find yourself on the final table of one of the mains you quite often come up against someone you are friends with. So it would be nice to be able to chop with them rather than playing them for, as you say, sometimes a 4 figure amount.

You would if you were HU though
I think a 'deal' button on Sky is a long way away yet. They haven't even introduced antes into their games yet, so doubt any deals could be done.
I like how the DTD venue has a NO DEAL policy in place TBH. Players have to play cards and go for the win or just hope to ladder in this scenario.
In Response to Re: making a deal? : how would making a deal work tho in a bounty hunter cos some of the prizepool is on the remaining players heads. Posted by THEROCK573
Surely in making a deal you can split the remaining prizepool, but keep playing for heads or for a spare ££ up top?

I thought their rule was no deals, as in its your ICM value or play on. It defiantly was that at least.
I'd like to see a deal option. The problem is, if u want to negotiate, you need someone to mediate. Reckon sky would provide that??

On some sites the CL can lead negotiations. All players have to agree so IF the software could be set up and implemented this way it wouldn't involve extra ongoing cost.
