1.30 Josses Hill (16/1) 2.05 Mozoltov (40/1) (as short as 12/1 with paddypower) 2.40 Our Father (20/1) 3.20 Melodic Rendezvous (25/1) 4.00 Swing Bowler (20/1) 4.40 Corrinwood (12/1) (with hills most have it 6 or 7/1) 5.15 Up And Go (33/1)
I'm with Wynne and think both Vatour and Quevega will win, but having an each way bet in each race also.
Try not to drink too much cause the queue to take a p*ss is a nightmare! lol..took me 20minutes at the grand national, but cheltenham was way worse..heres my other tips for day 1
1:30 theres alot of runners, but on form it looks between Irving & Faugheen..The liquidator at 20/1 will give a good run for his odds from the front, but hard to see him staying there.
2:05 joesmans tip
2:40 this is your best e/w race of the day, i like time for rupert at 25/1 & Hollywell 10/1
3.30 im so biased towards Hurricane Fly, i love the horse lol..but take your pick from the top 4 Our conor, hurricane Fly, the new one or my tent or yours, wouldnt be a shock to see any win a wide open champion hurdle.
4:00 this is a case of a ferrari you drive out 2 times a year, against a bunch of banged up ford escorts..very hard to see the super mare Quevega beaten..i dont even have a value e/w in this race
4:40 a four mile minefield, but shotgun paddy at 7/1 looks a solid e/w chance, also back whatever nina carberrys on, shes led over the last fence 3times in the past 4years in this race, her time to win cant be far away.
1.30 Splash Of Ginge 25-1 -probably one race too late with this but they were surprised it lost to Irving 3-1 when they met and won big handicap last time. shouldn't be 25-1. Already backed The Liquidator 20-1, hope it returns to form
2.05 Champagne Fever 11-4
2.40 Holywell 8-1 Course winner, distance winner, and Victor Hewgo franked the form last two races. Think Jonjo said it was his best chance of a winner a little while back.
3.20 Melodic Rendezvous 20-1 Only time it lost this season was when it went lame against My Tent or Yours who is 4-1. This horse is value bet for EW. The New One will win it if no mistakes
4.00 Quevega but if you want a bit of value Highland Retreat 14-1
4.40 Midnight Prayer 9-1 Won well last time and jumped superbly
