Bounty Hunter Tounaments - Why Do Sky Keep Head Value?

I've noticed that there are frequently bounty hunters running on here, and have slowly began to play a bit more frequently on this website, due to the new software. I recently won a bounty hunter on here and was pretty disgusted by the outcome of the prize money.

I can't help feel though that sky are still not geared towards running a trustworthy and reliable poker site, rather than just something to run along next to their sky bet and sky vegas. Can anybody explain why the head value is kept from the winner and put into skys back pocket? That is the players prize pool at the end of the day, and i feel strongly this is something I could take further, as surely its against some sort of regulation never seen this before ever, wouldn't have it down a casino or any other site, so why here?

    if u win a bounty hunter tournament, u keep your head prizes and take the last value of the other, but your head value doesnt get given to you

    I must be honest never looked or considered before, I automattically assumed the winner got his head prize as nobody had took it. Can someone confirm it please?

    Your head value is put into your head prize I believe.  It's easy to check.  Go to any BHer lobby which has finished and get the calculator out.

    I just checked a 55bher I won this week.  Everything adds up to the head prizepool and the head numbers added up equals the total entries.  As I said, it's all in there.

    Not sure how these rumours start but hopefully that puts your mind at rest Sir.

    I can confirm, having won way more BH's than hhyft... that sky dont keep the winner head prize.

    played a bh this morning and  didnt take no heads, and didnt finish in the cash, and i recieved  no money at all, so the maths is correct.

    Funnily enough, in all the 93 Bounty Hunters I've won here on Sky I got paid the final head-prize too.
