    The money goes directly (visible within seconds) back into your account.

    it hasnt and when i tried to re-register i was being charged,

    sounds like you won a satelite, then unregistered.

    you'll have to speak to customer care and ask nicely to be registered again. - they'll probably ask you not to do it again and re-reg you.
