Hey guys just getting back into cash after playing mainly MTT. I would like some feedback on a hand from my last session

Reads on villain is he seems a standard good player, not getting out of line or doing anything stupid.

Should i have lead the river? i was check calling river but the 3/4 pot bet just felt like a stong hand (set, 2pair even AK/AQ)

Or he could have air just trying to buy the pot after you check. Gotta call here and see, then takes notes as appropriate for future reference. That's worth the £3 alone.
