Going to play some NL10 cash tables for a few hours and tomorrow I'm off to the Wigan v Leeds game at midday, really need to get some revision done for my May exams, but poker > University Posted by Swog
Jeez I must've have become old at some point in the recent past, my head figures that I should post to suggest you don't get too sidetracked by the pokers till you have that first in the bag... mind you, I remember the last month or so of my Uni life and it was way more degen and silly than grinding out a poker bankroll so I'm one of the last people that should be chucking out advice on this
How are you finding the cash tables, results aside. Do you feel that in the main you are bossing the tables and it's just variance catching you out at the moment?
Had a bit of a nightmare on the cash tables over the past 24 hours, one hand included where i shove £12 into a £1 pot with what i thought was the nut straight, failing to realise the board had paired, opponent flipped over quads lol. A tired play.
Had a few interesting hands too, which i have posted in the clinic.
ShakinAces - I'm not sure i'm going to see how i do this month and then report back, i'm atleast 10 buy ins down on the cash tables so it's hard to say, still need to brush up on certain areas of my game. I've had some bad beats but i've also had some good fortune too.
Tonights tournaments:
£200 DTD 1 (£2.20) 19:15
£150 DTD 2 (£1.10) 19:45
£200 DTD 3 (£2.20) 20:30
£2,000 Mini B/H (£5.50) 20:30
I will be playing a bit of NL10 on the side in order to boost my points total in anticipation for the Ipad draw tomorrow. How many? Depends on how many tournaments i'm still in.
So,
Current Bankroll (minus torunament entries): £492.41
