I don't think online poker is fixed but this kind of stuff puts my beliefs to the test.

T6o is gonna win that situation about 1 time in 5, not really that shocking to just see 1 occurence of it. Much the same as if someone rolled a dice would you outraged if they rolled a 4 (or any other number)?

This was the first hand in a DYM. I'm not questioning the odds I'm questiong the dodgy play and the horrible way it won.

You clearly are questioning the odds because you said something along the lines of not thinking online poker is rigged, but stuff like this puts your believes to the test. Most likely it was some tilt induced play. Most of the time the AA is going to win but because of probability the T6 always has a chance of winning.

    Hi Poldara

Just one of those things, someone was taking a punt and would shove any two.

He has paid his money and if this is how he wants to play he's perfectly entitled to.

To use the old cliché we want him at the table.

As Lambert said queens is not always going to win this hand.

I don't quite get how you feel this questions your belief that online poker is rigged.

Sure it's a badbeat, but that is just part of poker.

hi poldara, this happens in on line poker and live poker...AA does not guarantee a win.Against 10.6 off suit AA is 85% and 10,6off suit is15% in any form of poker and the more u play the more u see it.
We welcome these players because in the long run they will be losing players...
    just another odds matchup

A2 off v 94 off is 60/40 understand these odds(go on any odds Calculator)and u can see that being rivered can happen quite a lot

I remember once getting it all in with TT opponent has AA. Flop came Axx, Turn T, River T. Extraordinary, but if you play enough poker hands you will always see hands like this. Even when you are 98%/2% favourite, you only need to see that hand 50 times and once you will see the bad beat.

It doesn't mean any site is rigged. Bad beats are part of the game.
