Controlling the size of your writing on a forum post

I have noticed that the font size seems to set at the smallest size possible as per default. Is there any way of adjusting this so that you get it appear in the size you want from the outset without having to select the whole thing and choose font size or choose font size before typing your post - or am I being fussy?

Hi Gary, there is no way to change that at the moment I am afraid.
