Cape Factor - (Redcar, 15:45)  NR
Lost just once at 2 yrs and back on the up when narrow second in 7f Baden-Baden listed race last time. Could take a hand.

    Danzeno - (Ascot, 15:15)  2nd

Highly progressive sprinter who landed a Newcastle Group 3 in June on just his fifth career start and excellent second back in handicap last time (would have won but for hanging left). More to come.

Tracked leaders, ridden and progress 2f out, led just over 1f out, hung left final furlong, headed last strides (op 7/1)

    Heaven's Guest - (Ascot, 15:50) 3rd

Back to best when winning 7f Bunbury Cup at Newmarket in July. Good fourth in valuable C&D event later that month and bounced back from couple of lesser efforts when fourth in Ayr Gold Cup last time.

Tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, close up well over 1f out, stayed on same pace after

    Integral - (Newmarket, 15:30) Winner

Rounded off good first year with second to Sky Lantern in this. Improved again this term, landing Group 2 at Royal Ascot and Falmouth on July Course. Disappointed in France latest but can bounce back.

Soon led and dictated gallop, ridden and quickened 2f out, edging right but in command inside final furlong, ran on well (op 4/1)

    Kiyoshi - (Newmarket, 15:30) x

Not straightforward but highly talented on her day, as shown when responding well to first-time headgear to win 15-runner Group 3 at Doncaster last month. More needed here, though.

Held up in touch in midfield, ridden over 2f out, no impression, outpaced inside final furlong (op 8/1)

    Miss France - (Newmarket, 15:30)  2nd

Won Oh So Sharp Stakes at this meeting last year before beating 16 rivals in 1000 Guineas over C&D in May. Good fifth in French Oaks before runner-up to Esoterique in Group 1 at Deauville. Player.

Raced keenly, chased leading pair, ridden 2f out, ran on to chase winner final 100yds, kept on but always held (op 4/1)

    Mission Approved - (Ascot, 17:00) 3rd
Successful twice for Sir Michael Stoute and is very much threatening to come good for current yard, first home in far-side group when sixth over 6f here 2 weeks ago (6f). One to take seriously.

Held up in rear, waiting for room over 1f out, progress along with winner final furlong, stayed on to take 3rd near finish but never quite pace to challenge (op 7/2)

    Busatto - (Windsor, 15:50)  x

Mixed bag during a busy campaign since twice adding to tally in May, continuing out of sorts at Newbury in September. Bit to prove as a result, including stamina.

Chased leaders, ridden 4f out, soon beaten, tailed off (tchd 8/1)

    Statutory - (Pontefract, 15:40)  Winner

Three-time winner for Mark Johnston last year, signing off with victory in this race. Back to that sort of level when hitting the frame for this yard in recent starts, and claims once more.

Set fair gallop, pushed clear 2f out, idled and shaken up inside final furlong, soon ridden and kept on towards finish (tchd 4/6)

    Cordite - (Leicester, 16:10) 3rd

Winner of a 7f course maiden at 2 yrs and has shown useful form in defeat this term, though looked a hard ride when disappointing in listed company last month. Opening mark looks pretty stiff.

Slowly into stride, headway over 6f out, ridden to chase leader over 1f out, stayed on (op 11/2)

    Aetna - (York, 15:30) x

Boasted a progressive profile in 2013 and continued on the up when a clear-cut winner of a C&D soft-ground handicap in May. Shaped well on recent return from a break at Newmarket and ground ideal.

Mid-division, headway over 2f out, soon chasing leaders, outpaced over 1f out, kept on closing stages (tchd 6/1 in a place)

    Brass Ring - (Newmarket, 15:50) 4th

Has posted 3 solid enough efforts since switched to staying trips but his progress seems to have levelled off and suspicion he'll be a little vulnerable off this mark.

Mid-division, smooth headway from 3f out, ridden and very chance over 1f out, stayed on same pace final furlong (op 20/1, tchd 25/1 in a place)

    Caledonia - (York, 16:45) 4th

Opened his account in this sphere when bagging a soft-ground Musselburgh handicap (2m) in June. Not in same form both starts since, however.

    Examiner - (York, 13:50) 2nd

Won 1m handicaps at Lingfield and Kempton in January and his placed effort at Goodwood in August despite a troubled passage confirmed he's more than capable from this mark. Chester run best forgiven.

Held up in rear, headway on inner 3f out, chased leaders well over 1f out, ridden to challenge entering final furlong, soon disputed lead and every chance until driven and no exra last 75yds (op 13/2)

    Indy - (York, 13:50) X
Useful performance to make winning debut at Doncaster (6f) in November and another step forward when second in 1m listed race at Sandown on return, no match for cleverly-ridden winner. More to come.

Tracked leaders, pushed along 3f out, ridden over 2f out, gradually weakened

Lancelot Du Lac - (York, 15:30) NR

Progressive in 2013, winning 4 times, and in much better form than form figures this season might suggest, travelling strongly long way on wrong side in Wokingham on penultimate start. Interesting.

    Quick Jack - (Newmarket, 15:50) 3rd

Won 4 times on Flat/over hurdles in second half of 2013 and further progress when making winning return from 6 months off at Galway in July. Looks sure to go well again.

In touch, nudged along to took closer order on far rails over 2f out, waited with upsides leader, ridden to lead entering final furlong, no extra when headed towards finish (op 11/2)

    Wahgah - (Newmarket, 14:40) 3rd

Improved when routing the opposition in a 1¼m Kempton handicap in August, and good second at Wolverhampton next time. This is much tougher, though, and Albasharah appears to be the stable No 1 here.

In touch in midfield, effort under pressure entering final 2f, 3rd but no threat to leading pair over 1f out, battled on to hold 3rd final furlong
